Founded in 1839, this is a sister restaurant of "Okayoshi Honten," a local Omi beef restaurant in SHIGA RYUO. Okayoshi's "Omi beef" is exquisite, made by carefully raising calves on the restaurant's own ranch for about two years. Our recommended menu items include the BIFUTEKI bowl, which is made with fresh meat served on rice, which is unique to Okayoshi, which is run directly from a ranch, as well as the premium hamburger, beef stew, and the limited-edition diced steak, which is available for 30 servings, which is very popular every day. Brand Concept | Founded in 1839, Okaki Honten began over 170 years ago, in the 10th year of Tenpo, when the world was in turmoil after the arrival of the Black Ships at the end of the Edo period, and the first generation (Shoshichi) started trading cattle and horses here. The birthplace of "Okaki Shoten", Yamanoue, Ryuo-cho, Gamo-gun, is located slightly south of the Koto Plain, which spreads to the east of Lake Biwa, the center of Omi. In order to produce even tastier Omi beef in a rich natural environment, Okaki works day and night to further hone its traditional breeding techniques and to further hone its customers' expectations. |
